CHRISTIAN MOLINA


Christian Molina, Barcelona's young director, makes good use of the accumulated knowledge in different fields in which film has been working very young, for in 2004 his debut Red blood. Christian Molina's experience as a focus puller and operator of prestigious orders cinematographers as Fernando Arribas, Jose Luis Alcaine or Paco Femenia give an image domain and light that allow you to tell any story in a way quite unusual.

Academically trained in the best film schools in the country (ECAM ESCAC Barcelona and Madrid), Christian supplementing their training with participation in a dozen films like Juanma Bajo Ulloa Airbag, Proceedings of the fallen angel with David House, of which women laugh Joaquin Oristrell or a flash of Miguel Hermoso and others.

In 2008, Diary of a Sex Addict addresses, based on the acclaimed best-seller by Val�rie Tasso, which was a box office success and international sales.

On television he has worked as a cameraman in the Seventh Cavalry program and has also worked in other programs such as Quetzal Route, both of TVE. In addition to directing and producing music videos, infomercials, short films, series and several documentaries mobile has made several commercials for clients such as Telefonica, Citroen, Inland Revenue, Movistar, Traffic Department or City of Light.

His third feature film, Season of oblivion, co-directed by Sandra Serna, was released in June 2010. He was selected by many international festivals most notably the International Film Festival of Valladolid 2009 and the Cairo International Film Festival 2009. The film was well received both public and critics.

In 2010, Christian made his fourth feature film I Want to be a soldier, Spanish-Italian co-production, which have involved international actors such as Danny Glover and Robert Englund. The film has participated in many international festivals, among them the "Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia," the "Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma", in which the film won the award for best film the "Allice nella Citt�," or the Milan International Festvial "Films I've seen", which won the award for best picture. The film was released last October 2011.

Christian Molina has worked with Darren Lynn Bousman (director of SAW I, II and III) as executive producer on the film shot in Barcelona 11/11/11, which has also directed the second unit.
